Mule Deer Fawn Ecology: survival of mule deer fawns, including the influences of predators and timing of birth.
Biography
Jacob is from West Valley, Utah. He earned his BS and MS in Wildlife and Wildlands Conservation from BYU, and is currently studying mule deer fawn ecology with hopes of becoming a Wildlife Biologist for a state wildlife agency. Jacob served an LDS mission in Florida, and currently lives in Provo spending time hunting, camping, fishing, hiking, and playing music with his beautiful wife and daughter.

Sage-grouse winter forage and movement corridors/barriers.
Biography
Jason is from Bluebell, Utah, and has his BS in Wildlife Science from USU. His current research focus is sage-grouse winter forage and movement corridors and barriers. Prior to coming to the lab, Jason spent three summer field seasons as a wildlife technician for the UDWR and volunteered at the USU predator research facility. Jason served an LDS mission in Houston, Texas, and enjoys hiking, photography, snowboarding, and kayaking.

Kit fox throughout the state of Utah to improve remote-camera sampling protocol and create a statewide habitat model for the species.
Biography
Kelsey is from Murray, Utah, and has her BA in Environmental Studies from USC. She is currently studying kit fox throughout Utah, working to establish an improved remote-camera sampling protocol, as well as create a statewide habitat model for the species. Prior to coming to the lab, Kelsey studied marine ecosystems off the coast of southern California. She loves to bake, and her favorite animal is a cat.

Biography
Aaron is from Kamas, Utah, and has his BS and MS from BYU. He is currently studying ecology of sharp-tailed grouse in North Dakota, working to implement conservation strategies to protect grouse species in the hunt for energy resources. He enjoys bird hunting.

Biography
Maksim is from Chicago, Illinois, and has his BS from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. He began working in the lab in August 2016 and is interested in large mammal conservation. Maksim loves to travel, spend time outdoors, and is a huge Chicago Bulls fan.

Biography
B.J is from Ephrata, WA. He began his master's program in June of 2016. Following graduation, he plans to pursue a career in education at the university level. B.J. has previous experience working with bears, elk, bison, and mountain goats at Yellowstone Bear World. He served an LDS mission in Fortaleza, Brazil.

Biography
Justin joined the lab in 2010. He has two daughters with his wife, Crystal, and they are expecting another child this year. Some of his hobbies include hunting, fishing, football, baseball, and hockey. His favorite animal is the chukar, which is the focus of his research, and he joined this field because he likes birds. Justin served an LDS mission in the Dominican Republic.
