Mule deer fawn survival in relation to predation and maternal condition
Biography
Sydney is from Spanish Fork, Utah. She is currently studying mule deer ecology with the hope of becoming a wildlife biologist for the state of Utah. She enjoys hunting, trapping, hiking, reading, and dreaming of becoming a rancher. She has previous experience working as a Northern Goshawk technician on the Ashley National Forest, and as an intern for the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources. Sydney served an LDS mission in Chile.

Emmi began working with the lab fall semester of 2016. She is the oldest of five children. Following graduation, she hopes to work closely with animals. Her favorite animal is a moose.

Biography
Wil joined the lab in winter of 2016. He is from Vernal, Utah and hopes to attend medical school following graduation from BYU. He is currently working on deer and elk collar retrieval as well as cementum analysis in the tooth lab. He served a mission in South Africa and enjoys hiking and played hockey for BYU. He is married with a kid on the way! His favorite animal is a nyala.

Macey is from Caldwell, Idaho and joined the lab in Fall of 2017. She loves dogs, camping, hiking, birding and painting. She is currently a Junior and is working as our lab manager and helps in the dentin lab and catching Sage Grouse. Her favorite animal is the gray wolf.

Morgan joined the lab in fall of 2017. She is a sophomore from Tooele, Utah and enjoys hunting, fishing, riding horses, and spending time with her dog, Jager. She currently works on cementum, the wildlife capture database, deer and elk collar retrieval, and trail camera photo analysis. Upon graduating, she hopes to attend grad school at BYU studying large ungulates. Her favorite animal is a moose.

Erik is from Newport, WA. He has been in the lab since Winter 2017. He loves fishing and hunting for large game and shed antlers. Tabitha is from Post Falls, Idaho and joined the lab in Winter 2018. She enjoys hiking camping, reading, and bushcraft. She is currently working on sage-grouse captures, transmitter retrieval, and chemical analysis of sagebrush from sage-grouse habitat. Following graduation, Tabitha plans to attend graduate school and pursue a PhD in Wildlife Conservation. Her favorite animal is the stingray.
